AnchorIP is static IP infrastructure for developers and businesses. It gives you a reliable, fixed IP address through a secure WireGuard connection, without requiring you to provision or manage your own servers.

No. AnchorIP manages the gateway infrastructure for you. You simply connect using a WireGuard configuration we provide and route traffic through your static IP.

Yes. Our Dedicated Static IP plan gives you an exclusive IPv4 address that is not shared with any other customer, ideal for strict IP allowlisting requirements.

Yes. AnchorIP is built specifically for use cases like API allowlisting, database access control, and webhook testing where a stable outbound IP is required.

After signing up, download your WireGuard configuration from the dashboard. Import it into the WireGuard client for your platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android) and click connect.

WireGuard runs on all major platforms including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. We provide configuration files compatible with all of them.

Yes. You can run WireGuard in a Docker container and use our configuration to route container traffic through your static IP.

Bandwidth limits depend on your plan. Shared plans have generous limits suitable for development and testing. Dedicated and Team plans offer higher limits for production use.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and their solutions.

Check that your firewall allows UDP traffic on port 51820. Ensure you're using the correct configuration file and that your private key matches the one in your dashboard.

WireGuard is designed for high performance. If you're experiencing slow speeds, try switching to a different gateway location or check your local network bandwidth.

Ensure the DNS setting in your WireGuard config is set to a reliable DNS server like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. You can also remove the DNS line to use your system defaults.

Verify that your system clock is synchronized. WireGuard requires accurate time for key exchange. Check that the endpoint address is correct and reachable.
